Faculty Bios

PAUL

Paul Gordon

Paul has performed for over 45 years in Film, Television, Theatre, Corporate and Cruise Ship Shows. 

Some recent roles include American Gods, Umbrella Academy, The Boys, The Accused, Chucky, The Incident Report, The Handmaid’s Tale, and In The Tall Grass as well as short films Rocket Fuel, Down Deloro River, Burden of Thoughts, Second Draft. He has also appeared in over 35 television commercials. 
Paul currently also teaches Tap Workshops and conducts student and teacher seminars for studios, dance competitions and conventions. 
He performs his Song & Dance Act “All of Me” at Retirement Resorts and Fundraising Galas. Paul also created and performs his original Electronic Tap Act for corporate shows and theatres. 
Other film and TV credits include Hairspray with John Travolta, The Magic Show with Doug Henning and Didi Conn, Superstar with Molly Shannon & Will Farrell, Feast Of All Saints with Ben Vereen and Jennifer Beals, A Christmas Carol with Henry Winkler and the mini series Me And My Shadows (the Judy Garland Story) with Judy Davis and Victor Garber. 
Paul has also worked with Karen Kain, Johnny Cash, Ronnie Hawkins, John Ritter, The Muppets and George Hamilton, to name a few. 
Some theatre credits include, Oklahoma at Theatre Aquarius, Swing with Drayton Entertainment and The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas at Stage West. He spent four summers performing the lead role and emcee in the Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show. 
Some choreography credits include episodes for the children’s T.V. show Noddy for CBC and the mini series Falcone with Jason Gedrick for CBS as well as many theatre and corporate productions.

Lisa Vendetti

Lisa Venditti is the owner and Director of her studio in Spencerport New York. She has been active in the dance community both locally and nationally for over 20 years? Her training includes all forms of dance from local and world-renowned instructors. She attends dance certification programs and training seminars throughout the United States including; Christopher Seminars, Dance Masters of America, Tremaine Dance Conventions, Manhattan Dance Project, New York Dance Alliance, Broadway Dance Center, 24 Seven and Nuvo. She enjoys choreographing competitively and theatrically including; the Judy and David Show, OnStage Productions, Christmas on the Canal, Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Halftime Show for the Rochester Rhinos and Rochester Razor. Her dancers have performed for local musicians CD release parties. Lisa is currently an Executive Board Member of the Spencerport Area Chamber of Commerce. She is a competition judge and loves to share her creativity and passion for dance.

Cassiah Pryor

Cassiah is no stranger to the dance community. She has been a very successful performer/ dancer since the age of 2, where she quickly learned that she had a passion for the performing arts.
Cassiah has obtained her BA Honors in Drama & Communications, Media and Film, as well as her Bachelor of Education teaching diploma. Cassiah graduated with a gold seal from the ADAPT syllabus teachers training program, where she completed  an extensive 3 years of training, under the direction of Brian and Faye Foley. She also has a very extensive Acro background and has been named a Master Instructor/ Examiner for the Acrobatique AcroDance Syllabus.
Cassiah has had the privilege of being a touring faculty member with Dance Attack Workshops for many years, which has given her the opportunity to work with many talented dancers such as tWitch, Stacey Tookey, Jordan Clark, and Tokyo. She has also been very honored to dance and choreograph for multiple special events, films, fashion shows, and musicals including 'Cabaret', 'Legally Blonde', 'West Side Story', 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' and most recently the very successful ‘Beauty and the Beast’.

Cassiah has an immense background in all areas of the performing arts, and over 20 years of experience. She is known for her knowledge of dance, and has won countless awards for her unique and creative choreography. Her passion for the performing arts is most evident  through her teaching techniques, energetic classes, and positive influence on dancers.

Tina Lendman

Tina has been a dancer all of her life.  She was born and raised in a classical ballet school in the Chicago area studying all dance disciplines. Tina’s early training was under the direction of Chicago’s finest; Ruth Page and Larry Long from The Lyric Opera Ballet, and her personal favorites, Gus and Nan Giordano. 

Tina continues to learn, grow and share her expertise with her dancers. With over 30 years of teaching experience Tina knows what it takes to train children. This past season Tina had dancers accepted into ABT, Houston and Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and The Rock summer dance intensive program.  Currently  her students can be seen at Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Canada, The Julliard School of the Arts in NY as well as in two off Broadway shows and two have qualified for YAGP in New York.   In 2012, three of Tina’s graduates received a combined total of $125,000.00 in college scholarships to varies dance programs through The United States.

 

Tina is a member of the Cecchetti Council of America and conducts weekly classes in the Cecchetti technique.  She is an experienced adjudicator judging all over Canada and The United States.  Tina established a “Dancer Exchange” program with the country of Belize in 1998 and is currently on staff with the cutting edge dance company, “Belize Dance Company” in Belize. Tina sits on the board of directors for NoMi, a modern/ contemporary dance company in the Chicago Land area. 

Tina is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Luv 2 Dance and share her love of dance with new up and coming dancers. Good luck everyone!

Patricia Flowerday

Patty Flowerday has studied dance since the age of six and has taught all  forms of dance. Miss Patty studied dance at Joyce Winters School and SUNY Brockport. She has also studied under many well known teachers such as: Tom Ralabate, Luigi, Ray Leeper, Mandy Moore, and Cayla Allen to name a few.  She has been a Master Jazz teacher for Dance Masters of America and the British Dance Teacher's Association. Parents and students can tell you that Miss Patty gets results from students in a positive, encouraging way. Miss Patty owned and operated Dance 22 in Webster NY for the past 22 years and has branched off on her own and has opened Patty Flowerday School of Dance &  Fitness in 2011. Miss Patty is an adjudicator for many competitions regional and national throughout the USA and Canada. She has published a book through Rhee Gold Standard Press for dance teachers, "Dance Teacher's Helper" which is the first in the series. Miss Patty is a member of Dance Masters of America Chapter #8, and is certified by test to teach through Dance Masters of America. She has  completed 6 years of Teacher's Training School at the University of Buffalo through Dance Masters. Miss Patty also loves to choreograph musicals and you can usually find her doing that in her spare time. In October 2009 she attended the International Association of Dance and Medical Science (IADAMS) Conference in Cleveland and took multiple classes on how to improve dancers technique, flexibility and strength. Miss Patty is always looking for ways to improve her teaching  abilities and loves working with her students. In the summer of 2012 she took Jazz classes with some of the best in the world at the World Jazz Dance Conference in Pittsburgh PA. Many of her students have gone on to professional careers in dance including Broadway Shows, August Wilson Dance, Eisenhower Dance, Visceral, Hubbard Street, BodyVox, ARC Movement, MSA Talent Agents NY-LA, Radio City Rockettes and SYTYCD (Jim Nowakowski) to name a few. Miss Patty is very excited to judge for Luv 2 Dance and is excited to see all of the talent the competitors have to offer! 

Tonya L Guldenpfennig

Tonya L. Guldenpfennig, a Virginia native began her dance training at age two under the direction of Ray Hollingsworth, creator of Dance Troupe, Inc.  She is proficient in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary and musical theater and is a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor.  During her training in all forms of dance Tonya had the chance to study with such masters as Gregory Hines, Debbie Dee, Bob Rizzo, Gregg Russell, Frank Hatchett and Charles Kelly to name a few. In addition, to teaching technique classes in studio settings, she has judged on several competition circuits and has taught master classes for regional and national conventions.  She has also choreographed for numerous High School drama and community theater musicals in Virginia, North Carolina and Florida and has had many students go on to pursue professional dance careers, appear in music videos, on film and become teachers themselves!


Tonya has been honored on both Regional and National levels for her Award Winning Choreography as well as being recognized and commended for her care and concern to details of costuming, music selection and choreography that is geared appropriately to the age of dancers. In addition to her many awards for her dancers' technical expertise, she has been recognized by many different competition judges for instilling outstanding dance etiquette in her students. Miss Tonya coached several different competitive Dance Teams, directing them to numerous National Championships.  Tonya has owned and directed studios in Virginia Beach, Virginia and currently Clearwater, Florida.  She has over 26 years experience in teaching students ages 2 through adult and feels blessed that she is allowed to share her love and passion for the beautiful art of dance with so many students is excited about joining the adjudicator staff of Luv 2 Dance Competition and looks forward to seeing all of the talented dancers enjoy being on the stage, performing and showing off all their hard work!

 

Emily Einsmann

Emily graduated with her B.F.A in Performance Dance from Ryerson University, where she trained extensively in Ballet, Jazz and Modern techniques with renowned faculty Nadia Potts, Robert Glumbeck and Vicki St. Denys, among others. Upon graduation, Emily was immediately launched into the commercial world and has performed with international recording artists Sting, Camila Cabello, Kelly Clarkson, Anne-Marie, Vanessa Hudgens, Shawn Hook, Kardinal Offishall, and The Weeknd… to name a few. Emily has has the privilege to share her talent onstage at the NBA All Star Halftime Show, iHeart Radio MMVAS, We Day, and the iHeart Radio Jingle Ball North. Choreographic credits include Emily’s three full length contemporary dance productions that toured Dubai. She also choreographed the official City of Toronto's Tree Lighting Ceremony, a record production that drew in over 8000 spectators. Emily’s recent adventures took her to Qatar in 2022 where she was Cast Manager to over 230 performers for the FIFA Arab Cup. Emily continues to hone her versatility as a dancer, and currently trains in Acrobatics/Handstands and Partner Balancing under the tutelage of former Team Canada’s Rosh Amendra. After years of training in Salsa, Bachata, Cabaret and Latin dance styles, she recently co-opened a Latin Dance studio in downtown Toronto. Emily continues to be a sought-after choreographer and instructor, and guest teaches regularly all over Canada and the USA at national conventions and competitions. She MC-ed and hosted seminars/classes at both the Toronto and Calgary Dance Teacher Expos, drawing in thousands of studio owners and dance educators from across the nation. Emily continues to enjoy a fulfilling career, while passing on her years of knowledge and passion to young artists and fellow educators all across Canada and the USA.

A.J. LoPresti

An award winning choreographer, teacher & adjudicator, A.J LoPresti has over 25 years of experience in the performing arts. A.J. studied at Sheridan Institute in the Musical Theatre Program and has trained in Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics, Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop, Tribal, Swing, Lyrical, Fosse, Broadway and Contemporary.

 

A.J. had some exposure on So You Think You Can Dance Canada - Season 4, as he was part of the top 150 finalists. A.J. had the opportunity to dance in Disney's movie "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure" working alongside Ashley Tisdale and some of the other High School Musical celebrities. A.J. also had the opportunity to choreograph and perform in Stacey Kay's music video "Island Girl” and “Show me what you got”.

 

A.J. has performed in a number of shows in Toronto including Highschool Musical 2, the Canadian Premiere of Hey Marilyn and Panopticon, as well as Gypsy, Guys and Dolls, My Fair Lady, Anne of Green Gables and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. A.J. has also been part of several high profile dance companies including; The Dance Concept, Black White and Acoustic and InDou Dance Works.

 

A.J. has won numerous awards and scholarships for his dancing including the title of Teen Mr. Dance Canada at the Dance Masters of America (DMA) pageant, and runner up at the National DMA pageant. A.J. enjoys sharing his wealth of knowledge with future generations of dancers.

Stephanie Kokalovski

     Stephanie Kokalovski is a proud dance educator who has been providing quality dance training in the GTA for well over a decade. She is a graduate of the York University BFA Honors Dance program specializing in Pedagogy and Movement Analysis and an acceptant of the National Ballet School of Canada’s Teacher Training Program. Stephanie is trained extensively in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acrobatics, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Fosse, and Hip Hop. She is a well respected professional teacher holding qualifications with the Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers (ADAPT), Acrobatic Arts, Cecchetti Society of Canada (CSC), Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), the Limón Modern Technique, Acro Dance Teachers Association (formerly Acrobatique), Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), The British Association of Teacher’s of Dancing (BATD), Healthy Dancer Canada (HDC), High Five Quality at Play: Healthy Child Development, and the Professional Adjudicators Alliance (PAA). Stephanie is a true believer that continued education only enhances her ability to provide a quality dance education. Stephanie also utilizes her tools as a certified barre fitness instructor by Total Barre and Barreworks, and her training in STOTT Pilates certification to enhance the quality of training for her students. Stephanie has worked closely with The Abilities Center and their Thrive Program for participants with special needs. She is proud to have developed and implemented their Dance Education and Physical Fitness programs for those with additional needs; dance should be accessible to everyone! Stephanie has performed professionally across Canada and has been part of the competitive dance industry throughout Canada and the United States for over 20 years. Some performances include the Motionball Charity Gala for the Special Olympics, The Alzheimer’s Society Walk for Memories at Roy Thompson Hall, “The Best of Broadway in Concert” tour, Upstaging Cancer, Mayor’s Galas throughout the GTA, events for the Canadian Cancer Society (Relay for Life), Real Music Media – “Rebel Rebel” Music Video, and various shows with Steppin’ Out Theatrical Productions (The Pajama Game, Cabaret). She has worked with TD Canada Trust choreographing for their Gala’s and Flashmob choreography for their company events. She also works within the school board providing dance workshops and unit lessons to their students.

 

     Stephanie’s true passion is for dance education. As a proud studio owner she truly understands all the hard work and dedication (from students, teachers, and parents) that it takes to bring dance to life and to the stage! Her students have achieved top honors in their examinations and performances, going on to dance professionally at both post secondary institutions and pre-professional study programs across Canada and the United States (York University, Ryerson University, Julliard Summer School, and The National Ballet School of Canada). Her work has received many choreography and special awards, making her a respected member of the dance community. Stephanie has had the fortunate opportunity to train and work closely with dance artists and educators from all over Canada and the United States, some of which include John Ottman (National Ballet of Canada), Elisabeth Leyds-Holms (National Ballet School of Canada), Patrick Parson (Ballet Creole), Helen Jones (Toronto Dance Theatre), and Donna Krasnow (York University and The Limón Institute NYC). These experiences have solidified her belief that dance education is a true gift and responsibility to be able to provide to all dancers and she continues to educate herself to provide the best she can for everyone she is fortunate enough to work with.
