Faculty Bios


Jacqueline Willis

Jacqueline has been involved in dance education for well over 30 years. As a member of the British Association of Teacher's of Dance, Paula Morgan Technique system, Acrobatic Arts, Angelina Ballerina Dance AcademyTM ,she is well versed in all disciplines of dance and the technique attached. Jacqueline continues to train with master teachers all over Canada and the USA.

For the past 9 years Jacqueline has been training with L.A. dance guru Paula Morgan in her method of developing dancers technically sound yet safe. Along with her teaching credentials Jacqueline holds her E.C.E. diploma from Centennial College. Combining her knowledge of dance and child development has given Jacqueline's chool of Dance an advantage in programming.

Jacqueline opened her own studio in 1984. Under her direction, students have enjoyed many uccesses winning numerous National and International titles, scholarships and awards. Personally Jacqueline has been the recipient of many choreography awards. Many of her dancers have gone on to study at the National Ballet School of Canada, Randolph Academy of the Performing Arts, George Brown College, Ryerson and York University and many enjoy successful careers performing at Canada's Wonderland, musicals, music videos, industrials, commercials, television shows, movies as well as teaching and choreographing. Jacqueline is extremely proud to have six graduating students on faculty including her two daughters.

Dance is a true passion. Creating and telling stories through movement are limitless. Jacqueline's spirit and enthusiasm for developing new ideas keep her dancers inspired to enhance and strengthen their technique.

Paul Gordon

Paul’s professional career spans over 37 years.  As he has retired from teaching full-time it’s given him more time to teach workshops and choreograph routines at studios across Canada.  He enjoys teaching tap, jazz, musical theatre, lyrical and production workshops to serious students who want to work hard.  It’s also opened up his schedule to work as host and emcee for a variety of Corporate events.

He has appeared in numerous Industrial Shows, Specials and T.V. variety shows for CBC, CTV and other networks across North America. He has been fortunate enough to work with such performers as Karen Kain, Johnny Cash, Ronnie Hawkins, John Ritter, Doug Henning, Jim Henson, Frank Oz & The Muppets and George Hamilton, to name a few.  Paul conceived and performs his original Electronic Tap Act, which can be seen at paulgordondancers.com.

Some of the mini series and feature films he has appeared in are Hairspray with John Travolta, Superstar, Me And My Shadows (the Judy Garland Story) and Feast Of All Saints with Ben Verene and Jennifer Beals. Some of his theatre credits include “Oklahoma” at Theatre Aquarius,  “Swing” with Drayton Entertainment and “The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas” at Stage West.  From 1996-99 Paul spent four summers performing the lead role as a guest performer in the Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show. 

Paul has appeared in over forty television commercials recently including Mr. Clean, Smirnoff Vodka, Budweiser Beer, Good Year Tires, McCain Cake, Ontario Technology, Best Buy and Roadrunner Internet U.S.  He has choreographed episodes for the children’s T.V. show “Noddy” for CBC and the series “Falcone” for CBS.

Hannah Burkholder

Hannah Burkholder is a triple threat choreographer and dance educator from Toronto, Canada. Hannah began dancing at the age of three and has trained extensively in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, theatre, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary and acrobatics. She trained at a competitive level during school years and completed exams with the Canadian Dance Teachers Association (C.D.T.A.) in Tap and Jazz. She has extensive acting, vocal and music theory training. Hannah graduated from the School of Kinesiology, University of Michigan and continues to broaden her education through courses and classes offered through top international universities. Hannah believes that we are always learning in new ways and will forever be students! Hannah has had the opportunity to work and train internationally with amazing choreographers and educators. She works as a choreographer, teacher and adjudicator across Canada and the United States and continues to educate back home in Toronto and surrounding areas. She is a certified Youth Protection Advocates in Dance (Y.P.A.D.) member of Canada and has aided the growth of YPAD’s Adjudicator Certification Course, ensuring that dancers’ safety is a top priority in competitive dance. Hannah’s work has allowed her to travel to Europe, Africa, Asia, Mexico, the Caribbean, Bahamas and the UK. She has been recognized for her innovative and award-winning choreography, as well as her attention to execution and detail in the studio through her use of science and body mechanics in her lessons. She is a faculty member of various conventions across North America. Hannah’s current and graduate students are members of Team Canada (IDO), the Tap Dance Centre, Ballet Jorgen, George Brown, cruise lines and more. Past dance and vocal performing credits include Disney Cruise Line, Lower Ossington, Much Music, MMVAs, DVBBS, Eric Prydz, Dada Life, Dragonette, Afrojack and has appeared in over 50 stage performances across theatres in the GTA. Hannah was one of five dancers chosen worldwide to travel to St. Petersburg, Russia to attend St. Catherine’s Palace with Disney as the iconic princess, Cinderella. Hannah continues to educate dancers of all ages and is thrilled to share her love of dance across the nation!

Kristen Flanagan

Miss Kristen brings a wealth of knowledge to L2D having experience dancing and performing since the age of 3 and teaching since the age of 16. She has over 15 years of teaching experience and has successfully completed her BATD Associates Diploma in Acrobatics. She has also taken her BATD exams in Jazz, ballet, and Tap and was persistent in achieving honours throughout. She is certified through Gymnastics Ontario and has her level 1 Coaching and trampoline certificate.  Miss Kristen has recently achieved her Certificate in Acrobatic Arts, which is a new and upcoming teaching syllabus. 

Growing up Miss Kristen was a member of an award winning competitive team, participating both in Canada and the United States. To further her love for dance, she has attended workshops in New York City at Broadway Dance Centre, Triple Threat in Toronto, "So I know I can dance", Dance teachers summit in New York City and several others throughout Ontario which were led by many sought after professionals.


Miss Kristen takes pride in all of her accomplishments, but more importantly the accomplishments of her dancers. She is the owner and artistic director of a well-known studio located in Southwestern Ontario. 

Her studio has been recognized for their exceptional technique and performance qualities on regional and national level stages. Miss Kristen has won many choreography awards and has been acknowledged for her creative and artistic numbers that she choreographs each year for her own studio as well as guest choreography she sets on other studios.  She is a well sought after Acrobatics, Jazz and Lyrical teacher and hosts many workshops to dancers looking to advance their technique


Miss Kristen is excited to have the opportunity to share her expertise and training with the dancers competing at L2D!  She can’t wait to see the talent and love for dance shine on stage!

Peter D'Souza

Dancing since the age of 7, Peter’s strong passion for performing arts has led him to pursue a career as a dancer, choreographer and actor. Starting off in Richmond, British Columbia and eventually moving to Toronto, Ontario, Peter has trained and competed in all disciplines of dance with Hip-Hop being his main focus and passion.

This young dancer has already had the opportunity to work with well-known choreographers such as Luther Brown, Tony Testa, Jae Blaze, Devon Perri, Tatiana Parker, Emma Portner and many more. Peter’s professional career has enabled him to work and share the stage with artists such as Janet Jackson, Ariana Grande, July Talk, Meghan Trainor, Blake McGrath, Kreesha Turner, Trish, Anjulie and PSY. He has also been featured in live performances including iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards (MMVAS), CityTV’s New Year’s Eve Bash, WeDay, Divers/Cité (Montréal), and the PanAm Games. Film and Television Credits include The Next Star (YTV) Backstage (Family Channel) Make It Pop (Nickelodeon) and most recently a Disney Channel Original “Zombies" choreographed by Christopher Scott  Peter was also casted in the Monsters of Hip Hop Show in Los Angeles where he got to work with Rhapsody James, Parris Goebel, Luam Keflezgy, Nick Demoura, Jillian Meyers and many more. 

Peter is always looking for a new challenge; he is constantly improving and taking his dance vocabulary to the next level. He is known to be a very dedicated and high-spirited dancer, teacher and choreographer.

Debra Jones

Debra has been dancing, singing and acting since the age of three.  Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Ms. Jones trained at, among other studios, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and successfully completed many jazz, tap and ballet exams in RAD, Al Gilbert Syllabus, CDTA, and ADAPT.  She won numerous awards at competitions and went on to study at York University, finally obtaining a BA from University of Manitoba.  She is also a certified gymnastics coach through NCCP, an Examiner, Mentor and Registered Teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance, and has also studied both Cecchetti and Vaganova syllabi.  

Debra has been a triple threat professional in theatre, television and film with credits that include ‘Guys and Dolls’, ‘Showboat’, ‘Pajama Game’, ‘Kismet’, ‘Funny Girl’, ‘Kiss Me Kate’, ‘Amadeus’, as well as many commercials and variety specials on CBC.  A former Miss Saskatchewan Roughrider, Ms. Jones has also worked for many years as a print and ramp fashion model and has participated both in front of and behind the scenes of many pageants.   

After moving to Regina, Saskatchewan, Ms. Jones taught workshops and classes throughout southern Saskatchewan and became the Artistic Director of Danceworks Regina.  Also working as a choreographer of many semi-professional and professional theatres, Ms. Jones has helped direct shows for Winnipeg Light Opera Society, Regina Lyric Light Opera, Theatre Regina, and Brantford Theatre Company.  

She now teaches at various studios in southern Ontario, which has been her home for the last 25+ years.  She also free-lances as a competition and theatrical choreographer and workshop leader.  Many of Ms. Jones’ former students have won national and international recognition in ballet and other dance forms, and many have gone on to professional careers, both in dance and dance-related fields. 


Debra hopes to continue to pass on her knowledge and experience to many more talented young people for years to come!

Denise Quinn

In September 1993, Denise opened her own studio  in Ontario where her goal is to provide quality education for her students in the art of dance.  Her studio offers technique-based classes in Classical Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Acrobatics.

Denise is a founding member and examiner in Classical Ballet, Modern and Acrobatics with P.A.E.C. - Performing Arts Educators of Canada.  She is also an executive member of P.A.E.C.   She has choreographed productions of Jesus Christ Superstar, A Midsummer Night's Dream  and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum for Royal St. George's College in Toronto.  Recent choreography includes "Life Goes On – A Beatles Journey", produced by D MAjor Productions.  Her former students have furthered their dance education at university as well as continued to perform professionally around the world.

A quirky approach to choreography has created a unique reputation for comedy in her musical theatre competitive routines.  She has given master classes in this particular discipline at multiple studios in Ontario.  Most recently has created a popular musical theatre program for recreational students.

Denise believes we'd all be much happier in our daily lives if we spontaneously broke out into song.


Julia Mounsteven

Julia Mounsteven began her dance studies at a young age at the School of Classical Ballet. She has also studied at the Toronto Summer School of Dance, The Banff School of Fine Arts and Les Ballet Jazz.
Over the years, Mrs. Mounsteven has studied with such well know teachers as Lorna Geddes, Fernand Nault, Lora Alonso, Juan Antonio and many others. Mrs. Mounsteven is a full member of The Canadian Dance Teachers Association (CDTA), and Certified Lebed Method (CLM) as well as the Professional Adjudicators Alliance. She participates in various ballet and modern workshops throughout the year and enjoys going to various competitive venues adjudicating.

Mrs. Mounsteven enters students yearly in Ballet Examinations. She has also won several awards for choreography in Ballet and Modern. Many students she has taught have received scholarships in both ballet and modern for competitive performances. Many of her students have entered into a professional careers in dance both in Canada and abroad.

Mrs. Mounsteven having developed many students’ passion for dance have continued their dance training in professional venues such as colleges, universities, the National Ballet School and The Quinte Ballet School.

As a mother of three children herself she brings to her instruction not only professional integrity but her nurturing qualities as well.

Vicki Fletcher

 Vicki was born and currently lives in Ontario Canada and has been dancing since the age of 2. She soon realized that her love for all forms of dance was something she wanted to share with others through teaching. She started teaching at the age of 17 and has been doing it ever since. Vicki brings 28 years of teaching jazz, tap, acro, lyrical, stretch and conditioning and musical theatre to dancers of all ages.

     Vicki graduated from Dance Masters of Americas Teachers Training School at Kent State University and the University of New York in Buffalo and is also certified through the Ontario Gymnastics Federation. She is a certified teacher through Acrobatic Arts and is currently a Course Conductor and Acro Examiner with them for the past 4 years. Working with Acrobatic Arts allows Vicki to express her passion for acro and teaching other teachers the importance of training strong acro dancers safely. She has had great success in building strong acro dancers who have been demonstrators and assistants in conventions, workshops and teacher training courses all over the world.


Vicki has adjudicated dance competitions and has taught workshops and conventions across Canada and parts of the United States. She feels it is very important to stay current with your training so attends workshops and conventions whenever possible. She has won many awards for her creative choreography and her students have won many awards, scholarships and titles.Many have gone on to pursue their own careers in dance whether it be performing in companies or on cruise ships, studying dance in University and becoming teachers themselves.


     Vicki knows the work and time that is put into these amazing routines to get them ready for the stage and wants wish all the dancers the best of luck this weekend. Remember that competition is not all about winning but making memories, meeting new friends and learning by watching and appreciating other dancers and our love of all things DANCE!

Diana Einsmann

Diana Einsmann TTP Dip (NBS), RTS-RAD, ARAD, CSC-CICB, AJP-GIA Diana is a graduate of Canada’s National Ballet School Teacher Training Program and is accredited by the Royal Academy of Dance and the Cecchetti Society of Canada. Diana further honed her contemporary dance skills at Simon Fraser University in British Colombia where she studied Graham technique. After completing the dance program at Simon Fraser University, Diana returned to Toronto where she focused her attention on the study of Classical Ballet technique at Canada’s National Ballet School. Diana has recently performed with The National Ballet of Canada and The Toronto International Ballet Theatre.

Lisa Vendetti

Lisa Venditti is the owner and Director of her studio in Spencerport New York. She has been active in the dance community both locally and nationally for over 20 years? Her training includes all forms of dance from local and world-renowned instructors. She attends dance certification programs and training seminars throughout the United States including; Christopher Seminars, Dance Masters of America, Tremaine Dance Conventions, Manhattan Dance Project, New York Dance Alliance, Broadway Dance Center, 24 Seven and Nuvo. She enjoys choreographing competitively and theatrically including; the Judy and David Show, OnStage Productions, Christmas on the Canal, Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Halftime Show for the Rochester Rhinos and Rochester Razor. Her dancers have performed for local musicians CD release parties. Lisa is currently an Executive Board Member of the Spencerport Area Chamber of Commerce. She is a competition judge and loves to share her creativity and passion for dance.

Cassiah Pryor

Cassiah is no stranger to the dance community. She has been a very successful performer/ dancer since the age of 2, where she quickly learned that she had a passion for the performing arts.
Cassiah has obtained her BA Honors in Drama & Communications, Media and Film, as well as her Bachelor of Education teaching diploma. Cassiah graduated with a gold seal from the ADAPT syllabus teachers training program, where she completed  an extensive 3 years of training, under the direction of Brian and Faye Foley. She also has a very extensive Acro background and has been named a Master Instructor/ Examiner for the Acrobatique AcroDance Syllabus.
Cassiah has had the privilege of being a touring faculty member with Dance Attack Workshops for many years, which has given her the opportunity to work with many talented dancers such as tWitch, Stacey Tookey, Jordan Clark, and Tokyo. She has also been very honored to dance and choreograph for multiple special events, films, fashion shows, and musicals including 'Cabaret', 'Legally Blonde', 'West Side Story', 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' and most recently the very successful ‘Beauty and the Beast’.

Cassiah has an immense background in all areas of the performing arts, and over 20 years of experience. She is known for her knowledge of dance, and has won countless awards for her unique and creative choreography. Her passion for the performing arts is most evident  through her teaching techniques, energetic classes, and positive influence on dancers.

Tina Lendman

Tina has been a dancer all of her life.  She was born and raised in a classical ballet school in the Chicago area studying all dance disciplines. Tina’s early training was under the direction of Chicago’s finest; Ruth Page and Larry Long from The Lyric Opera Ballet, and her personal favorites, Gus and Nan Giordano. 

Tina continues to learn, grow and share her expertise with her dancers. With over 30 years of teaching experience Tina knows what it takes to train children. This past season Tina had dancers accepted into ABT, Houston and Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and The Rock summer dance intensive program.  Currently  her students can be seen at Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Canada, The Julliard School of the Arts in NY as well as in two off Broadway shows and two have qualified for YAGP in New York.   In 2012, three of Tina’s graduates received a combined total of $125,000.00 in college scholarships to varies dance programs through The United States.


Tina is a member of the Cecchetti Council of America and conducts weekly classes in the Cecchetti technique.  She is an experienced adjudicator judging all over Canada and The United States.  Tina established a “Dancer Exchange” program with the country of Belize in 1998 and is currently on staff with the cutting edge dance company, “Belize Dance Company” in Belize. Tina sits on the board of directors for NoMi, a modern/ contemporary dance company in the Chicago Land area. 

Tina is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Luv 2 Dance and share her love of dance with new up and coming dancers. Good luck everyone!

Patricia Flowerday

Patty Flowerday has studied dance since the age of six and has taught all  forms of dance. Miss Patty studied dance at Joyce Winters School and SUNY Brockport. She has also studied under many well known teachers such as: Tom Ralabate, Luigi, Ray Leeper, Mandy Moore, and Cayla Allen to name a few.  She has been a Master Jazz teacher for Dance Masters of America and the British Dance Teacher's Association. Parents and students can tell you that Miss Patty gets results from students in a positive, encouraging way. Miss Patty owned and operated Dance 22 in Webster NY for the past 22 years and has branched off on her own and has opened Patty Flowerday School of Dance &  Fitness in 2011. Miss Patty is an adjudicator for many competitions regional and national throughout the USA and Canada. She has published a book through Rhee Gold Standard Press for dance teachers, "Dance Teacher's Helper" which is the first in the series. Miss Patty is a member of Dance Masters of America Chapter #8, and is certified by test to teach through Dance Masters of America. She has  completed 6 years of Teacher's Training School at the University of Buffalo through Dance Masters. Miss Patty also loves to choreograph musicals and you can usually find her doing that in her spare time. In October 2009 she attended the International Association of Dance and Medical Science (IADAMS) Conference in Cleveland and took multiple classes on how to improve dancers technique, flexibility and strength. Miss Patty is always looking for ways to improve her teaching  abilities and loves working with her students. In the summer of 2012 she took Jazz classes with some of the best in the world at the World Jazz Dance Conference in Pittsburgh PA. Many of her students have gone on to professional careers in dance including Broadway Shows, August Wilson Dance, Eisenhower Dance, Visceral, Hubbard Street, BodyVox, ARC Movement, MSA Talent Agents NY-LA, Radio City Rockettes and SYTYCD (Jim Nowakowski) to name a few. Miss Patty is very excited to judge for Luv 2 Dance and is excited to see all of the talent the competitors have to offer! 

Tonya L Guldenpfennig

Tonya L. Guldenpfennig, a Virginia native began her dance training at age two under the direction of Ray Hollingsworth, creator of Dance Troupe, Inc.  She is proficient in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary and musical theater and is a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor.  During her training in all forms of dance Tonya had the chance to study with such masters as Gregory Hines, Debbie Dee, Bob Rizzo, Gregg Russell, Frank Hatchett and Charles Kelly to name a few. In addition, to teaching technique classes in studio settings, she has judged on several competition circuits and has taught master classes for regional and national conventions.  She has also choreographed for numerous High School drama and community theater musicals in Virginia, North Carolina and Florida and has had many students go on to pursue professional dance careers, appear in music videos, on film and become teachers themselves!

Tonya has been honored on both Regional and National levels for her Award Winning Choreography as well as being recognized and commended for her care and concern to details of costuming, music selection and choreography that is geared appropriately to the age of dancers. In addition to her many awards for her dancers' technical expertise, she has been recognized by many different competition judges for instilling outstanding dance etiquette in her students. Miss Tonya coached several different competitive Dance Teams, directing them to numerous National Championships.  Tonya has owned and directed studios in Virginia Beach, Virginia and currently Clearwater, Florida.  She has over 26 years experience in teaching students ages 2 through adult and feels blessed that she is allowed to share her love and passion for the beautiful art of dance with so many students is excited about joining the adjudicator staff of Luv 2 Dance Competition and looks forward to seeing all of the talented dancers enjoy being on the stage, performing and showing off all their hard work!

Kojo "Tuch" Mayne

ojo ‘TUCH’ Mayne From an early age music and dance played a significant role in Tuch’s life, and through Toronto’s premiere entertainment company – Do Dat Entertainment – he transformed his passion for the arts into reality. Tuch has risen to the top of his craft as a sought after dancer and choreographer known for his dancing abilities & professionalism. Tuch joined Do Dat Entertainment in 1998, and since then has performed with top musicians and entertainers, such as Shawn Desman, Eve & Gwen Stefani, Jully Black, Missy Elliott, and Selena Gomez. He’s worked with Sean Paul, Rihanna, Danny Fernandes, Victoria Duffield, Keisha Chante, Christina Aguilera, and Jay-Z in music videos and commercials. In addition, Tuch has appeared in numerous television/film and stage productions such as: the 2011 Much Music Awards, the Listener series, 2010 Olympic Torch Ceremony, The CW’s Beauty & the Beast series, E! News Weekend, the motion picture Honey featuring Jessica Alba, WeDay, the Junos, and the BET Awards. Recent highlights have been “Movement Coach” to rising Canadian singer Francesco Yates, and assisting Luther Brown on So You Think You Can Dance Canada, Lifetime’s 2014 biopic “Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B” & the 2015 Pan Am Opening Ceremony. With 15 years of experience in the dance industry, Tuch is a fixture in the Toronto dance industry, having taught hip-hop classes & workshops internationally, adjudicating, and judging at the World Of Dance Competition 2011 & 2012.



Emily Einsmann

Emily graduated with her B.F.A in Performance Dance from Ryerson University, where she trained in Ballet, Jazz and Modern techniques. 

Upon graduation, Emily was immediately launched into the commercial world. She has performed with international recording artists Camila Cabello, Sting, Kelly Clarkson, Anne-Marie, Vanessa Hudgens, Shawn Hook, Kardinal Offishall, and The Weeknd… to name a few. Emily has has the privilege to share her talent onstage at the NBA All Star Halftime Show, iHeart Radio MMVAS, We Day, and the iHeart Radio Jingle Ball North. 

Choreographic credits include Emily’s three full length contemporary dance productions that toured Dubai. She also choreographed the official City of Toronto's Tree Lighting Ceremony "Illuminate", a record production that drew in over 8000 spectators.

Emily continues to be a sought-after choreographer and instructor, and guest teaches regularly all over Canada and the USA at national conventions and competitions. Emily continues to enjoy a busy performance career, while passing on her years of knowledge and her passion for dance to young artists and fellow educators all across Canada and the USA.

Christina Pitts Jazzar 

Christina has literally been dancing her entire life and feels so blessed to have found her passion at the ripe age of 3. It is no surprise that she has been in the business for close to 30 years! Christina is a Ryerson University Theatre/Dance program alumni. Her “Happy Feet” have taken her all over the world. Favorite theatre credits include; West Side Story, A Chorus Line, Grease in Concert, Godspell, and Singin’ in the Rain. Following a stint on cruise ships she was offered the role of Resident Choreographer for Sunquest Cruises in the UK. There she got to work with some of the West End’s best choreographers and where she met her amazing dancer husband Dani Jazzar. After 5 years abroad they decided to move home to Canada to “settle down”. Keeping her dancers foot in the door, with 2 beautiful children in tow, she continued performing and working for many industrials and corporate gigs including 5yrs as Assistant Choreographer and Stage Manager for Miss Universe Canada. Believing in the importance of family and being close to home, she transitioned into the world of Film and Television.  Recent credits include; Anne, Handmaids Tale, The Strain, Beauty & the Beast and Shadow Hunters to name a few. Christina is so grateful to have spent her last season on The Strain as Assistant Choreographer to Roberto Campanella leading to her assisting on IT, The Expanse, StarTrek and her 1st credited work collaborating alongside Guillermo Del Toro on the 2018 Oscar winning film The Shape of Water.


Christina has attended numerous dance competitions as a Competitor, an M.C., a Manager and of course an Adjudicator. She looks forward to seeing what this season’s competition will bring.

Liz Tookey

Originally from Edmonton, Liz Tookey was a competitive dancer at the renowned Shelley’s Dance Company where she trained extensively in ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, tap and musical theatre from the age of 5.

Her professional career has allowed her to travel all over the world. She began with Princess Cruises as a featured dancer, and she travelled to Tokyo, Japan where she was part of the featured pas de deux couple in “Encore!” at Tokyo Disney Sea. She also went to Egypt and Israel under Big Fish Management to perform alongside Lisa Brokop for an inspiring show tour for the Canadian military.

Liz was able to exercise all of her skills in dancing, acting and singing when the love of the stage drew her to the world of musical theatre. Throughout her career she got to play a wide variety of characters. In Theatre Calgary’s production of “Anne of Green Gables” she played Gertie Pye, she played a flashy chorus girl in The Arts Club production of “Spamalot”, and in a dream come true performance in the North American Premiere / Toronto Mirvish production of “Dirty Dancing” she performed as ensemble and 1st “Baby” understudy. After an 18 month run Liz went on to play the role of “Baby” 52 times!

Liz can be seen on various episodes of the CW Network’s “Hellcats” as a featured dancer, and as Ashley Tisdale’s dance double. She was also Maggie Lawson’s dance double in the musical episode of “Psych”, and a featured dancer in ABC’s “Once Upon a Time”, Nickelodeon’s “Jinxed” and the upcoming feature film The Layover directed by William H. Macy.

Transitioning to the world of choreography, Liz began by assisting Canadian choreographer Stacey Tookey on So You Think You Can Dance Canada. She was also part of the creative team for ‘Reefer Madness” where she helped create dance sequences for the film.

Liz’s choreography can most recently be seen on Super Channel’s “When Calls the Heart”, and recently was the personal dance coach for award winning actor Domhnall Gleeson for the feature film Crash Pad. Other credits include choreographing and directing the Czech Republic fashion show for the 2010 Winter Olympics, and choreographing the opening number for the Times of India International Film Awards in Vancouver.
Liz loves to share her passion for what she does with pre-professional and professional dancers across Canada via master classes, adjudicating and setting choreography. She is currently on faculty at Harbour Dance Centre, and for Groove Street Productions and MOVE Dance Conventions.

Carly Gordon

Carly has been working as a professional performer for over 15 years. Her passion for the stage began to grow over her 20 plus years of dance and vocal training with the Paul Gordon Dancers. Where she trained in various styles including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Modern and Hip Hop and was a member of the PGD Dance Company performing in numerous variety, charity and industrial shows. Throughout her high school years Carly began to focus on theatre, performing in multiple Westdale Theatre’s productions. As well as being chosen as a part of the inaugural cast for the Art Smart program with Ancaster Theatre. After training with various industry professionals, Carly finished her year at St.Clair College by joining the touring company as a dancer in the cast of "It's Contagious".

Carly made her choreographic debut with Village Theatre choreographing Rocky Horror Show and shortly after accepted a year contract in Cancun, Mexico. While performing in nightly shows as a member of the main stage cast for Royal Solaris Cancun Carly continued to broaden her training with ballroom and latin dance. She has performed a variety of corporate shows with 444 Theatrical Creations, Stop Tyme productions and The Farm Inc.

Carly and her father Paul Gordon debuted their original 30’s & 40’s review show “All Of Me” as special guest performers with VegasNorth in Toronto and continue to perform in various venues in the GTA. Carly most recently choreographed SCD’s “Elite National Dance Team” for the opening performance of their National Gala. Carly is actively performing and has most recently worked multiple contracts for Carnival Cruise Lines as a dancer/singer in their MainStage Playlist Productions Shows, and had the privilege of installing one of Carnival’s new 2.0 shows while onboard her first contract! When she is back in Ontario, Carly continues to work freelance; including but not limited to teaching, emceeing, workshops, performing, conventions, choreography and promotional events.

Garrett Volpendesta

       I stepped into my first dance class at the age of six and never looked back. Dance has been my biggest passion ever since and when I started choreographing and teaching back when I was in high school I knew that it was my calling. Since then I have 15 years of teaching dance under my belt, teaching in several studios throughout Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.

        Currently I teach at multiple studios throughout the week introducing new programs that have been excelling at each facility, Coach for multiple competition teams and run a young performance group called HYPE (acronym for Helping Young Performers Entertain) out of my home studio The Dance Factory in Delavan Wisconsin. This performance group of mine has done dozens of performances around Wisconsin and Illinois appearing on television multiple times and recently performed for the Harlem Globetrotters halftime entertainment in 2018.

        My performance career started as soon as I started dancing and as of last year I have performed in over 8,500 shows. Most of those shows have been through the corporate entertainment scene including the Six Flags Corporation where I have been a dance captain of four international award-winning shows that I also co-wrote and co-choreographed. I was also nominated for the IAPPA for the best male corporate entertainment performer. During my years with the Six Flags Corporation I have also choreographed, produced, directed and written over a dozen shows for them. Outside of corporate entertainment I have been blessed with opportunities to with Neil Berg in his traveling  Broadway review show “100 Years of Broadway”, sharing the stage with multiple Broadway stars such as Tony Nominated Carter Calvert and Brad Little. I have also had theater performance training under Barbara DelMastro and some training with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet back in my youth.

        Excelling in the fields of hip hop and tap I am looking forward to branching out with my work and spreading my knowledge with dancers and inspiring young performers by starting to travel and offer master classes and workshops around the states.

A.J. LoPresti

An award winning choreographer, teacher & adjudicator, A.J LoPresti has over 25 years of experience in the performing arts. A.J. studied at Sheridan Institute in the Musical Theatre Program and has trained in Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics, Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop, Tribal, Swing, Lyrical, Fosse, Broadway and Contemporary.


A.J. had some exposure on So You Think You Can Dance Canada - Season 4, as he was part of the top 150 finalists. A.J. had the opportunity to dance in Disney's movie "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure" working alongside Ashley Tisdale and some of the other High School Musical celebrities. A.J. also had the opportunity to choreograph and perform in Stacey Kay's music video "Island Girl” and “Show me what you got”.


A.J. has performed in a number of shows in Toronto including Highschool Musical 2, the Canadian Premiere of Hey Marilyn and Panopticon, as well as Gypsy, Guys and Dolls, My Fair Lady, Anne of Green Gables and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. A.J. has also been part of several high profile dance companies including; The Dance Concept, Black White and Acoustic and InDou Dance Works.


A.J. has won numerous awards and scholarships for his dancing including the title of Teen Mr. Dance Canada at the Dance Masters of America (DMA) pageant, and runner up at the National DMA pageant. A.J. enjoys sharing his wealth of knowledge with future generations of dancers.

Stephanie Kokalovski

     Stephanie Kokalovski is a proud dance educator who has been providing quality dance training in the GTA for well over a decade. She is a graduate of the York University BFA Honors Dance program specializing in Pedagogy and Movement Analysis and an acceptant of the National Ballet School of Canada’s Teacher Training Program. Stephanie is trained extensively in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acrobatics, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Fosse, and Hip Hop. She is a well respected professional teacher holding qualifications with the Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers (ADAPT), Acrobatic Arts, Cecchetti Society of Canada (CSC), Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), the Limón Modern Technique, Acro Dance Teachers Association (formerly Acrobatique), Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), The British Association of Teacher’s of Dancing (BATD), Healthy Dancer Canada (HDC), High Five Quality at Play: Healthy Child Development, and the Professional Adjudicators Alliance (PAA). Stephanie is a true believer that continued education only enhances her ability to provide a quality dance education. Stephanie also utilizes her tools as a certified barre fitness instructor by Total Barre and Barreworks, and her training in STOTT Pilates certification to enhance the quality of training for her students. Stephanie has worked closely with The Abilities Center and their Thrive Program for participants with special needs. She is proud to have developed and implemented their Dance Education and Physical Fitness programs for those with additional needs; dance should be accessible to everyone! Stephanie has performed professionally across Canada and has been part of the competitive dance industry throughout Canada and the United States for over 20 years. Some performances include the Motionball Charity Gala for the Special Olympics, The Alzheimer’s Society Walk for Memories at Roy Thompson Hall, “The Best of Broadway in Concert” tour, Upstaging Cancer, Mayor’s Galas throughout the GTA, events for the Canadian Cancer Society (Relay for Life), Real Music Media – “Rebel Rebel” Music Video, and various shows with Steppin’ Out Theatrical Productions (The Pajama Game, Cabaret). She has worked with TD Canada Trust choreographing for their Gala’s and Flashmob choreography for their company events. She also works within the school board providing dance workshops and unit lessons to their students.


     Stephanie’s true passion is for dance education. As a proud studio owner she truly understands all the hard work and dedication (from students, teachers, and parents) that it takes to bring dance to life and to the stage! Her students have achieved top honors in their examinations and performances, going on to dance professionally at both post secondary institutions and pre-professional study programs across Canada and the United States (York University, Ryerson University, Julliard Summer School, and The National Ballet School of Canada). Her work has received many choreography and special awards, making her a respected member of the dance community. Stephanie has had the fortunate opportunity to train and work closely with dance artists and educators from all over Canada and the United States, some of which include John Ottman (National Ballet of Canada), Elisabeth Leyds-Holms (National Ballet School of Canada), Patrick Parson (Ballet Creole), Helen Jones (Toronto Dance Theatre), and Donna Krasnow (York University and The Limón Institute NYC). These experiences have solidified her belief that dance education is a true gift and responsibility to be able to provide to all dancers and she continues to educate herself to provide the best she can for everyone she is fortunate enough to work with.
